“Keep Pushing” Your Fitness
Have you ever stared down a steep double black diamond line, roped up for a 5.10b, or slammed the breaks at the top of a technical single track trail, and wondered, “Am I really up for this?” None of those are the best time to question your strength and athletic abilities.
Everything in life is easier when you’re strong, from conquering black diamonds to sending your first 5.10b lead; even kicking butt and taking names on the soccer field or volleyball court with your beer league friends.
Top athletes seek out coaching to elevate their game to the next level. So should you.
Hi, I’m Katie Prendergast, and I can help you achieve your health, fitness, and performance goals so that you become your best self.
I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Trainer (CPT, CES), Precision Nutrition (PN-1) coach, OTA online training certified, and a CrossFit athlete.
I’ve helped dozens of clients of all ages and abilities get stronger, fitter, and leaner in the gym. But my real passion is helping busy young professionals look and feel like athletes!
With coaching, you’ll improve your health, burn fat, lean out, and tone up. You’ll improve your performance in all areas of life: inside the gym, on the playing field, in the boardroom, and everywhere else you work and play.
I want to help you to look and feel your best: lean, toned, strong, and full of energy to conquer life’s adventures!
If you’re anything like me, you like to be great at the things you do. You don’t settle for mediocrity. You work hard, and you play hard. There’s no time to waste on the path to being awesome.
That’s what I’m here to help you with: being a bad-ass at all that you do. Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, climbing, running, or your sport of choice – you need to be strong to tackle it.
Being strong is empowering. It’s motivating. And it’s why you train – to get stronger at the things you love to do. More than that, you want look, feel, and perform your best.
So if you’ve been in the gym for years and aren’t seeing the results you want, or if you’re just beginning to exercise and want to skip from the BS straight to amazing results, I’m here for you.
What is it like to train with KPxFitness?
First of all, “KP” stands for “keep pushing” your limits, and that’s what we’ll do in our training sessions.
Your sessions will involve a dynamic warm up and mobility work designed to prepare your body to handle a no-nonsense strength training workout. We’ll focus on major movement patterns like the squat, lunge, hip hinge, upper body pushes and pulls, and core-based movements so that you build the strength to tackle anything life throws your way. We’ll typically end our sessions with a “finisher” to get your heart pumping and sweat flowing.
Each training session is custom designed around your goals. All training plans include “homework” workouts to perform in between our sessions, as well as a nutrition plan to support your training.
We can work together one-on-one, or bring your partner/friends for a semi-private or small group training experience. Check out the video of our popular women’s lifting group, the “Barbelles” for a glimpse into team training.
